Recycling tires is better for the environment. Together, let’s turn our tires into something beautiful.

How it Works

For every new tire sold an end-of-life tire will eventually be generated. Instead of taking up space in our landfills and posing a risk to human health and the environment, end of life tires can be processed and used in environmentally responsible ways.

To manage end of life tires generated in Manitoba, retailers will pay Tire Stewardship Manitoba a steward-fee for new tires sold in the province. 100 percent of fees collected go towards the operation of the scrap tire recycling program.

Properly managed end-of-life tires reduce environmental risk and create jobs and economic development right here in Manitoba.
